Foster Care project into next phase
The foster care houses in Soshanguve have been completed now. We are grateful in the first place to the Lord, to whom everything on earth belongs, and in the second place we thank all those who contributed to this project, whether in South Africa, Canada, Netherlands, Australia… In the meantime we rent out the houses to others, because an empty house invites thieves.
We are now in the process of identifying foster care parents, as well as local support groups for the foster care families. Until now a couple of people have applied to become foster parents. However it should be clear that an applicant really loves working with children. One cannot become a foster parent because you are unemployed and are urgently looking for a job. Pray that the Lord will put foster parents with the right motivations on our way.
